TempSMSOnline is committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and functional environment for all users. Our mission is to provide a tool for privacy, not a platform for abuse. This Moderation Policy outlines our principles, defines prohibited content and activities, and details our enforcement process.

This policy works in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. By using our service, you agree to abide by the rules set forth in both documents.

Our Guiding Principles

Our moderation efforts are guided by three core principles:

1. Upholding the Law: We have zero tolerance for any content or activity that is illegal in our operating jurisdiction.

2. Protecting Users: We strive to protect our users and the public from harm, harassment, and fraudulent activities.

3. Maintaining Service Integrity: We actively work to ensure our platform remains reliable and is not overwhelmed by spam or malicious use, which degrades the service for everyone.

While we do not actively monitor the content of every single message in real-time, we employ a combination of automated filters and manual reviews to detect and remove content that violates our policies. The following types of content and activities are strictly prohibited on TempSMSOnline:

• Illegal Activities: Any content related to or facilitating illegal acts, including but not limited to fraud, phishing scams, selling illegal goods or substances, money laundering, or terrorism.

• Hate Speech and Harassment: Content that promotes violence, incites hatred, promotes discrimination, or disparages on the basis of race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization. This includes bullying and direct personal attacks.

• Direct Threats of Harm: Any content that threatens violence against an individual, a group of people, or property.

• Sexually Explicit Material: We prohibit any content that is pornographic or intended to be sexually gratifying. This includes links to adult websites.

• Spam and Malicious Content: Any use of our service to facilitate spam operations is forbidden. We prohibit any messages containing links to malware, viruses, phishing sites, or other malicious software.

• Impersonation: Falsely claiming to be another person or representing a company or organization that you are not authorized to represent.

• Sharing of Private Information (Doxxing): Messages containing non-public, personally identifiable information of others (such as private phone numbers, home addresses, social security numbers, or credit card information) without their consent.

Our Moderation & Enforcement Process

We use a multi-layered approach to enforce this policy.

1. Detection:

• Automated Filtering: Our systems are equipped with filters that automatically scan for and flag messages containing keywords, patterns, and links commonly associated with prohibited activities.

• User Reports: We rely on our community to help us keep the platform safe. We encourage users to report any abusive content they encounter. Reports can be made via our Contact Us page.

• Manual Review: Our team periodically and randomly reviews content on our platform to identify and address violations that may be missed by automated systems.

2. Enforcement Actions: When a violation is detected, we reserve the right to take one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Content Removal: The offending SMS message will be permanently deleted from our system.

• Number Deactivation: If a specific phone number is found to be a consistent target for abusive content, we may take that number out of service entirely.

• IP Address Ban: We will block the IP addresses of users or systems found to be sending prohibited content to our numbers, preventing them from accessing our service in the future.

• Cooperation with Law Enforcement: We are committed to our legal responsibilities. We will cooperate with legitimate, official law enforcement requests for information when required by a court order or other legal process in our jurisdiction.
