Italy Numbers for Online SMS Confirmation

Italian numbers have been my go-to for Instagram for a solid six months now. +39 codes, especially from Wind Tre and Iliad, rarely trigger that dreaded "invalid number" pop-up. I think it is because Instagram sees so many genuine Italian users that the filters are just looser there. I have created probably a dozen Instagram accounts using Italian temps for various side projects, and the rejection rate is comfortably low.

What works for me is picking an Italian number that has zero prior Meta activity. I always clear the Instagram app cache before starting, and I set my phone language to Italian during the sign-up. Those might be placebo steps, but I have not had a failure since I started doing them. The SMS code usually arrives in about fifteen seconds. If it takes longer, I grab another Italian number from a different region, like switching from a Milan number to a Rome one.
